I love
books, reading them, holding them, and just having them on my shelf makes me extremely
happy. Recently I started on a Science fiction and fantasy rave. I routinely
search the internet for books I have not read and either buy them used on
amazon, or check them out of the library. It has always been a problem for me
during the school year to stop reading, set down my book and do homework instead.
With the infinite number of readable books out there I hope and regret that I will never stop having this problem. After years of constant reading my writing has been heavily affected by the various authors writing styles. Had I not read so much in the past, my writing would not be anywhere close to the low state it is in now, and I would have allot further to come than I do now. That is the wonder of reading.

I also enjoy reading a good book. The one bad thing about it though is when you finish the book. I have read many books and upon finishing them I feel almost depressed that its over and it takes me a couple of days to get my head out of that world i was stuck in lol
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading books very much! Moreover, I have my own library. I love reading, but I also like appearance of the books and even their smell. I wrote about my favorite books in the very first blog post. What is your favorite book ever? And what genre do you usually read besides science fiction? I like historical novels and thrillers, but I read a lot of different literature. It is amazing how a book can influence our emotions. It can inspire, make us laugh, cry, love and even hate its heroes. Check out this blog post. This man writes his thoughts about books and gives a link to his electronic bookshelf. I think it is cool.
ReplyDeleteI can surely say that books are one of my best friends. They always give me knowledge and their wisdom is never outdated.
