A try at today's popular genre: comedy and ads.

  1. I could not stop laughing at the Sears video ad. I believe using comedy is the best ways trigger someones emotion. Making the audience laugh is one of the best ways to advertise. Seeing the man run into the fridge was funny, but seeing the girl run into it, for some reason, was even more funny.

    people looking to buy quality appliances

    PURPOSE
    to convince them that sears is a good place to purchase the top 10 appliances.

    SUBJECT
    they were straight forward about informing the audience about their appliances. but they added a comical twist in order to trigger certain emotions to capture the audience's preference to buy from them over any other appliance store.

    funny, direct, informative

  2. HAHA! This instant kiwi ad is a classic. I laughed the first time i saw it too!
    Speaker: Instant Kiwi Lottery
    Occasion: Any times a good time for a scratch off! (except this probably)
    Audience: Anyone whos eligible to play. Specifically students.
    Purpose: To say, go ahead, play the lottery!
    Subject: This young man outhinks his professor if only to balance the power.
    Tone: Lighthearted, bold.
